Europe's leading trade show for the promotional products industry is strengthening its position in the textile segment at the upcoming PSI from 9 to 11 January. With more top textile companies among the PSI exhibitors, with more dedicated lectures on merchandise and promotional textiles at the PSI Forum and with specialised forums like the Textile Village.
The importance of textiles as a field of application in the promotional products industry was made clear by the past survey for PSI 2023. Following the last trade show, 60 percent of the visitors said they were particularly interested in promotional textiles at Europe's leading trade show for the industry. PSI 2024 offers correspondingly more in this segment.
More Brands, More Know-How
At the beginning of the final run-up, the exhibitor list already includes top textile companies such as Daiber, FOL International, Herka, Iqoniq (XD), J.S. Fashion, L-SHOP-TEAM, neutral.com, Pure Waste and Skarpeta. And the PSI Forum also attracts visitors with already confirmed lectures by textile experts such as Martin Schittko (Head of Merchandising, Eintracht Frankfurt), Karsten Bleymehl (CEO, Circular Materials GmbH and Head of Sales, DACH, Pure Waste) and Anouschka Jansen (Director Sustainability Solutions, QIMA).
"With our textile offers, we want to give the industry orientation, enable them to form cross-segment networks and invite them to exchange expertise," says PSI Director Petra Lassahn. "We are delighted to be bringing the Textile Village 2024 concept to life with our exhibitors and to be working together to provide our visitors with valuable inspiration in the field of textile promotional products, corporate fashion and workwear in these challenging times."
Textile Village Sold Out
Alongside FOL International with the brands Fruit of the Loom, Russell Europe and JERZEES, Cotton Classics, F.B. Aksesuar Çanta Tekstil, Malfini, Promodoro Fashion, Regatta Professional and Tee Jays, as well as L-SHOP-TEAM with its four own brands miners mate, bags2go, Fair Towel and printwear will also be part of the PSI Textile Village. This means that the area of the Textile Village in Hall 10 is already fully booked. There will be tried-and-tested and classic textiles from sustainable ranges on show, as well as new products, including bags, backpacks and terry towelling.
Is Sustainability Affordable?
Probably the biggest current challenge for the textile industry: the price-performance ratio of sustainable products. "Sustainability has an extremely high value," says Christian Lanvermann, Senior Marketing Manager at FOL International GmbH. "At the same time, the willingness to pay higher prices for sustainable products is only given to a certain extent." At PSI, he and his team want to use the opportunity to generate enthusiasm for their own brands with their sustainable ranges. He also wants to find out more about the wishes and needs of customers.
The Regatta Professional team is also looking forward to the exchange with the demanding target groups at PSI. Distribution Manager U.K. and Export, Sarah Clark, explains: "Regatta Professional is delighted to return to the PSI Textile Village in 2024 to reconnect with customers both old and new," she says. "We feel that having a textile village will enable us to have a better connection to industry specialists and new customers in the textile field."
The PSI Ticketshop is open.
